This summer we will screen and discuss Krzysztof Kieślowski’s The Decalogue, acclaimed as “the best dramatic work ever done specifically for television”. The Decalogue consists of ten one-hour short films based on the Ten Commandments.
Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of your faith background or where you are on your spiritual journey. Please not that these films contain mature themes.
Decalogue I: Thou shalt not have other gods before me.
Decalogue II: Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
Decalogue III: Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.
Decalogue IV: Honor thy father and thy mother.
Decalogue V: Thou shalt not kill.
Decalogue VI: Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Decalogue VII: Thou shalt not steal.
Decalogue VIII: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
Decalogue IX: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.
Decalogue X: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.
